Today I am going to tell the cause behind Akbar being one of the most successful rulers of all time.

First, you must know these things about Akbar :

Akbar's full name is Abu'l-Fath Jalal-ud-din Muhammad Akbar.

He took the throne of the Mughal Empire at the age of 13 when his father (Humayun ) fell from the Library and passed away.

He gained the trust of Non-Muslim subjects as well.

Akbar had a policy that we will conquer lands but not humiliate the ruler who controlled that land. So, Akbar never executed, prisoned, took the land of the losing king instead he included that king in his administration. It sounds weird but this is true. In this case, the losing king was permitted to rule again but under Mughal's administration. In the end, the ruler who was an enemy is now a friend.

The second reason is that Akbar appointed people of many religions and backgrounds in his army. For eg he will have Turkish, Iranis, Afghans, Rajputs, Marathas. This was because Akbar never wanted a conflict in his Empire.

The third reason is that Akbar made Rajputs fight among themselves. Because of this, the Rajput dynasty struggled. This is one of the big reasons that Rana Pratap was not so successful against Mughals.

Akbar is recognised as one of the greatest rulers till now.
